We can’t wait for ZZQ Texas Craft Barbeque to open their new, permanent location in Scott’s Addition right next to Ardent Craft Ales! We checked them out at their final pop-up at Ardent and if these lines are any indication, they’re in for a busy opening day!
ZZQ has made a splash in the Richmond food scene serving up authentic Texas style slow smoked barbeque with a central Virginia twist. You can find beef brisket, beef short ribs, pulled pork shoulder, pork spare ribs and more served up alongside jalapeño mac and cheese, potato salad, Texas caviar, and cornbread (just to name a few). Everything is delicious, you can’t go wrong! They even accommodate vegetarians with a smoked seitan dish.
After catering events and running pop-up barbeques at Ardent, ZZQ is scheduled to open their new location in early 2018. They will unfortunately be closed while under construction, so we’ll all just have to wait until opening day for more amazing barbeque!
