Time for another RVA Friday! Summer is still in full swing here, and we’re heading to another outdoor festival. On Sunday, August 20th, the Enrichmond Foundation and 17th Street Farmers Market in Shockoe Bottom is hosting “BrewBQ” – a beer and BBQ event!

From Virginia to Carolina to Texas style and everything in between, you’re guaranteed to find the perfect plate!  And if you’re in it for the brew factor, 15 local craft breweries will have some of their most popular beers on tap. Be sure to bring a lawn chair to kick back and enjoy live music courtesy of The Shack Band! This is a family friendly event as there is a Kids Zone with activities like painting, coloring, and more!

There is no entry fee BUT a $1 entry donation to Enrichmond is suggested. Enrichmond is a charity with the mission to enhance Richmond parks and activate its public spaces. BrewBQ will operate at 1615 East Broad Street, one block from 17th Street Market. Free on street and paid parking is available in adjacent parking lots on 17th and Grace Streets.

The event runs on Sunday, August 20th from 12-5 pm rain or shine. Don’t let summer slip away without attending Richmond’s biggest backyard barbecue in Shockoe Bottom!
