We’re supposed to be in for a weekend of fantastic weather here in Richmond, so get outside and enjoy it! Before you know it we’ll be bundled up, fighting each other for parking spots at the mall to get our holiday shopping done…but I digress. Here’s what’s going on this fabulous fall weekend:

Scott’s Addition Pumpkin Festival

This Saturday, October 21st come out enjoy the Scott’s Addition Pumpkin Festival! The festival takes place on Boulevard, starting by the Movieland Theater and extending down to Broad Street. Bring the whole family (dogs too!) and enjoy pumpkin themed food and drinks, live music and a kids zone packed with activities and crafts! Dress in your Halloween best and enter the costume contest! There are divisions for kids, adults and pets! The event is free to enter, rain or shine, and runs from 12-6.

Harvest Festival at Meadow Farm Museum

On Saturday October 21st from 12-4 pm, the Meadow Farm Museum in Glen Allen will be hosting Henrico County’s Harvest Festival! Enjoy a farmer’s market, live music, food, drinks and tons of demonstrations to entertain kids and adults alike. Paint a pumpkin and stuff a scarecrow to bring home and decorate for Halloween! This event is free to attend but food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Goblins and Gourds at Lewis Ginter

On Sunday, October 22nd, visit the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens for their Goblins and Gourds event! Pay regular garden admission to enjoy this harvest festival with live music, pumpkin painting, scarecrow stuffing, and more! Enjoy demos on gourd and pumpkin carving and a hands-on cooking class followed by a food tasting for the kids. This event will run from 1-4 and is packed with activities to entertain and educate!
