Festival season in RVA is in full swing! There’s a ton going on this weekend, check it out:

The 9th Annual Richmond French Food Festival is taking place this Friday (4-8) and Saturday (11-8)! At Little Sisters of the Poor in the West End, some of Richmond’s best chefs will be serving up authentic and delicious French fare paired with wines from different regions of France. You’ll find something for everyone with live entertainment, kid friendly activities, and local artists and vendors. Admission is free but a $2 donation is suggested!

Strangeways Brewing is hosting a huge Hawaiian themed party to support Richmond Animal Care and Control – the Bow Wow Meow Luau! This pet-friendly event is an RVA favorite with food trucks, vendors, live music, prizes and over 36 beers on tap! The event is free to attend but a $5 donation to RACC will get you a koozie! And who knows you might just find your new best friend in one of the adoptable dogs they’ll have on site! Party starts on Sunday at noon!

The RVA All Day Block Party is going down at The Broadberry this Saturday starting at 2:00 PM and running into the wee hours of Sunday. Tickets are $30 for a full day of local live music including People’s Blues Of Richmond, No BS! Brass Band, Angelica Garcia, South Hill Banks, Night Idea, Spooky Cool, Thorp Jenson, and more! This event is for all ages and has kid friendly activities like face painting and caricature artists!

Besides all this, it’s also Richmond Restaurant Week, RVA Fashion Week, and the Richmond International Film Festival is going on!
