Good afternoon Richmond! This week we are looking at the subdivision, Parkside Village in Glen Allen, an Eagle Homes Community. Parkside Village is a low maintenance community that is just minutes from the Short Pump Area. Check out some local events happening this weekend.
On Friday afternoon, the “Afternoon Chocolate and Tea Tasting” will be happening at Chocolates by Kelly at 11800 West Broad Street in Glen Allen. From the event details, “Join us at the new location of Chocolate by Kelly’s storefront in Short Pump Town Center for a tea & chocolate pairing. We will sample four hand-crafted artisan chocolates made especially to pair with four different teas from Miss Priss Tea Co of Richmond! This event will be happening from 1-2pm tomorrow and is a 12 minute drive from Parkside Village.
Saturday, “Cider under the Stars” will be happening in the evening at Stoney Point Fashion Park. The event details include, “Join us for an amazing evening of Local Virginia Ciders, Regional Ciders, Music, Food and Fun, all in a beautiful outdoor setting. The gates open at 5:00 PM so come early and stay late to enjoy all the day has to offer! Last call is 8:30 PM and bottles will cork at 8:45 PM” (eventbrite.com). This event is about a 25 minute drive from Parkside Village.
Also happening Saturday evening is, Saturday Latin Nights at Aloft” at 3939 Duckling Drive in Glen Allen. This event is only a 15 minute drive from Parkside Village. The event description below:
