Happy Father’s Day weekend, Richmond! There are a lot of exciting events happening this weekend around town, and this week we are looking at the new Eagle Homes subdivision, Readers Branch in Manakin Sabot. Starting in the high 300’s this community has a lot to offer, and there are events happening nearby this weekend.

To kick off the weekend, on Friday afternoon “Farm Fest” will be happening at the Aura Spa. With many vendors that are going to be at the event, people can expect to enjoy mini spa services, food, cocktails, raffles and much more. Along with the spa services, the option to shop the farmers market is there as well. This event starts at 2pm on Friday and will last until 7pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. To continue with a farmers market theme, on Saturday the Manakin Market is having their opening day. Manakin Market will offer a large quantity of different things to purchase including: cheese, meats, fruits, vegetables, plants, baked goods, farm products, and much more. There will also be children’s activities, farm animals, and wine tastings. This event will begin Saturday morning at 9am and last until 1pm. On Sunday, in honor of Father’s Day weekend, the Richmond Funnybone Comedy Club is hosting “LackDaDoe Father’s Day Comedy Show.
