The weather in Richmond has been crazy lately, frozen roads one day and 70 degrees and raining the next…but there’s still plenty going on to enjoy indoors!

The Children’s Museum of Richmond is throwing a Snow Day Festival featuring music, snow-themed education stations, art projects, snow cones and the annual crowning of the Snow Queen! Bring the kids out from 10-4 on Saturday and check out everything else the Museum has to offer!

The Henrico Humane Society is hosting their 18th Annual Pet Expo at the Richmond Raceway Complex on Saturday from 10-3! Bring your furry family members and enjoy a day of fun and excitement featuring over 50 exhibitors and vendors! Agility, obedience, tricks, puppy races, and a parade of adoptable pets… I mean how else do you want to spend your rainy Saturday? You might end up coming home with a new best friend! All proceeds benefit Henrico Humane Society and help save homeless pets in our community!

It’s hard to find food festivals this time of year but you’re in luck! The 11th Annual Jewish Food Festival is being held at 5403 Monument Ave on Sunday and Monday from 11:30 – 7:30. Vendors, live music, raffle prizes, and of course traditional Jewish food. So much more then Matzah Ball Soup, you can enjoy shwarma, falafel, corned beef, shakshuka and more!

Try something new this weekend!
