Here’s what’s going on this weekend Richmonders!
All weekend long the Bizarre Bazaar is back at the Richmond Raceway Complex! For over 40 years this bazaar has been offering unique seasonal gifts and decorative accessories for the home and garden, gourmet food and cookbooks, fine linens, designer women’s and children’s clothing, toys, fine crafts and artwork, furniture and jewelry and more! With over 250 vendors you’ll be able to find something for everyone on your list and maybe even yourself! Friday and Saturday 10-7, and Sunday 10-5.
On Saturday from 3-7 head out to City Stadium for the I Heart Carytown Festival! With live music, vendors, Carytown restaurants and food trucks and over 20 craft beers and ciders on tap, you’ll have plenty to do before the Richmond Kickers take on the New York Red Bulls II at 5:00! Get in for $15 ($10 for Season Ticket Holders) and you’ll get Festival Admission, Kickers Game Admission, and a free beer or lemonade! The first 200 fans through the gate will receive an exclusive sampling of small plates from some of Carytown’s legendary restaurants so get there early!
Also on Saturday, Ardent is hosting their 4th Annual Swine & Brine! This is a celebration of local foods and flavors with a focus on oysters, pork dishes, and homemade sides, along with beer, cider, and prosecco. Some of the restaurants participating include ZZQ, Rappahannock River Oysters, Postbellum, and Saison. In addition to all the Ardent beers on tap, they’ll have cider from Blue Bee and Zardetto Prosecco!
