This weekend there are tons of family friendly Easter themed events going on around Richmond! Check some out below:
On Saturday you can head out to Maymont for the Dominion Energy Family Easter Celebration! Face painting, basket making, egg hunts, obstacle courses and more await you and the kids from 10:00 – 3:00! This event has been crowded in the past so get there early! If you’re looking for something a little more geared towards adults but still kid friendly, check out Spring Farm Fest at Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery in Goochland from 12:00 – 9:00. They’ll have an egg hunt, petting zoo, pony rides, food trucks and delicious craft beer on tap (for the adults of course)!
On Easter Sunday, maybe after church but before you have to be at Grandma’s house for dinner, head to Monument Avenue for a Richmond tradition – Easter on Parade! From 1:00-5:00 everyone is encouraged to don their most eclectic Easter bonnets and parade down Monument with thousands of other Richmonders enjoying music, vendors, costume contests and more!
