This weekend, the nation’s largest annual outdoor sports and music festival, Dominion Riverrock returns to RVA! All weekend you try different kinds of outdoor activities (and watch the pros do it better) like kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, yoga, rock climbing, slacklining and more! The popular dog jump event always draws a large crowd and you can sign up for a variety of adventure races like the 5K Mud Run and Mountain Bike Time Trial.  Food and drinks from RVA’s most popular trucks and breweries will be there to keep you fueled up and ready for fun all day and live music performances keep the party going long after the sun goes down.  They’re not letting the weather keep them down either – most races and events have either been rescheduled or rerouted to dryer times and trails. Check https://www.riverrockrva.com/schedule/ for the latest schedule changes!

If outdoor sports aren’t your thing, check out the Lebanese Food Festival at St. Anthony’s in Glen Allen!  From 10:00-10:00 on Saturday and 10:00-8:00 on Sunday, enjoy traditional Lebanese food including kebabs, meat and cheese pies, stuffed grape leaves, roasted lamb, shawarma, and a ton of vegetarian options too! There’s more to Mediterranean cuisine than Greek food; come see for yourself! Or, if you’re looking for a rainy day activity, head to the 21st annual Asian American Celebration on Saturday at the Greater Richmond Convention Center! Enjoy dishes from a variety of Asian cultures, along with performances, music, dancing, educational events and more! The celebration runs from 11:00 – 7:00 at 403 N. Third Street.
