When Halloween falls on a weekday, that just means the festivities extend to the closest weekend! Read up on what to do in RVA this Halloween weekend:

Isley Brewing Company in Scotts Addition is one of our FAVORITE breweries and this Saturday they will be celebrating their four year anniversary! From 12:00 – 10:00 pm with live music starting at 2:00 they’ll be partying all day long! Come out and enjoy the unseasonably warm weather on the patio, and play some cornhole or giant jenga! There will be four different food trucks cranking out delicious food all day long AND dessert from Sugar Shack Donuts and Lush Cupcakes. In fact, Lush Cupcakes has made a special cupcake in honor of the occasion using one of Isley’s most popular brews – the Choosy Mother peanut butter porter. This is a pet and family-friendly event with a kids zone to keep the little ones entertained! The event is free to attend but you must be 21 or older to purchase/consume alcohol and/or alcoholic products. See you there!

On Saturday from 11:00 – 4:00 Lewis Ginter Gardens will be hosting their Oktoberfest party! The festivities are included with garden admission with food and drinks available for purchase.  We’re talking beer cheese soup, Schnitzel, soft pretzels, German chocolate cake, and apple strudel served up alongside German brews, wine and hot apple cider – does it get any better?! If you have a picky eater, don’t worry there will be a kids menu too! Jam out to live music all day while playing lawn games and be sure to bring a canned food donation. Lewis Ginter will be supporting the foodbank at FeedMore where thousands of meals are served daily to Richmonders in need. Enjoy a day of fun, food, and giving back!

Come out and enjoy Manchester’s First Annual Harvest Festival hosted by Legend Brewing! They’re setting up a stage in the parking lot for a day full of live music and performances along with food, drinks, costume contests, activities for the kids and more! If beer isn’t your thing, they’ll also be serving hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and coffee. They’ll be roasting a pig, and serving homemade doughnuts from Café Zata! With pumpkin decorating, face painting, and trick-or-treating for the kids the whole family is bound to have a great time! Running from 12:00 – 9:00 on Saturday, the event is free to enter with food, drinks, and more available for purchase!
