Are you celebrating Valentine’s Day a little early and looking for something fun to do this weekend with your significant other? Or maybe you and your friends are going out to forget about Valentine’s Day altogether…either way check out what’s going on in RVA over the next few days!

On Friday night you can celebrate the kickoff of the 2018 Winter Olympics with a viewing party of the Opening Ceremonies at Home Team Grill in The Fan! The broadcast starts at 8:00 but Happy Hour runs from 3:00-7:00 so it might be in your best interest to get there early so you can grab a table and some food/drink specials while you can!

If you’re looking for something a little more laid back, Friday is also Jazz Night at Isley Brewing in Scott’s Addition! Happy Hour runs from 4:00-6:00 with $1 off all beers and the live music featuring the Jack Irby Quartet will begin at 5:00. Freekin Rican will be out there serving up authentic Puerto Rican fare that I’ve heard is some of the best to hit the streets of RVA!

On Saturday, Studio Two Three is hosting a flea market featuring over 50 vendors of vintage and handmade goods! Come get your portrait taken in black and white, get a cup of coffee from Blanchard’s and stroll around. You never know what you’ll find! The market will be open from 10:00-5:00 and Studio Two Three is located at 3300 W Clay St.

When you’re done shopping head to Dogtown Dance Theatre in Manchester for their 7th Annual Mardi Gras Performance and Celebration! The party starts off with a parade at 3:00 leading into the theater for the main event. With dancers, performers, king cake, Cajun food, face painting, mask decorating, music and more, this is the best family friendly Mardi Gras event in town and is sure to be a blast!

On Sunday, the Brunch Market is back! The Urban Roost event space behind Lunch Supper in Scott’s Addition is happy to open back up for the first market of the year! Maybe you’ll find the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for that special someone…the mimosas and over sized breakfast biscuits can’t hurt either, right?

Once you’re full and all shopped out after Sunday brunch, head to Mechanicsville to check out our Open House at 7428 Kelshire Trace from 1:00-3:00! We’d love to meet you!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
