Good afternoon Richmond! The Albritton Team is hoping everyone is staying cool in this hot weather, but to cool things down a bit we are looking at the subdivision Magnolia Green this week and Ryan Homes Charleston Club. Magnolia Green has a big community swimming pool which is perfect for this time of year. However if you’re looking for something a little different, check out these local events this weekend happening in the Midlothian area.
Friday evening head on out to the Island Flavas Restaurant for “Old School/Flashback Fridays”. This event is an ongoing event every Friday night which features “oldies” music from the 80’s 90’s and 2000’s. The event does require people to be over the age of 25 and tickets can be purchased online. This event is only a 30 minute drive from Magnolia Green. Saturday morning The Market at Magnolia Green will be open starting at 9am at the Magnolia Green Welcome Center. Over 30 local vendors will be present with food, drinks, and much more for sale. Jeff Beatman – Storyteller will be at the event as well for the kids. This event is open to the public, free, and literally in Magnolia Greens backyard so you can walk to the event. Saturday evening enjoy some live music performed by Chip Hale hosted by Fest VA. This event starts at 7pm and will last until 10. Fest VA is located at 7044 Woodlake Commons in Midlothian and offers food and drinks for sale with an outside atmosphere. This event is a quick 10 minute drive from Magnolia Green and for more information on this event please visit Fest VA’s facebook page.
On Sunday to end the weekend head on out to King Pin Lanes in Midlothian for $2 games and $2 shoes and Happy Hour starting at 5pm. A fun activity for the entire family and a way to stay cool, a perfect way to end the weekend. King Pin Lanes is a 20 minute drive from Magnolia Green.
