If you’re a fan of Lunch and Supper, you have to check out the newest addition to the RVA restaurant scene – Brunch! That’s right, breakfast food all day, every day! Featuring a seemingly endless menu of classic favorites and new twists on brunch food, they just opened to the public earlier this week. The restaurant is located in the heart of The Fan on the corner of Main and Robinson, in the same space as the former Starlite Lounge. They’ll be open from 7-4 daily and are currently not taking reservations, so make sure you get there early!

On Saturday, January 5th, Courthouse Creek Cider is throwing their big annual Orchard Wassail Party! What wassailing, you ask? The term dates back to Middle English and Old Norse and was used to toast someone’s good health. It’s also the name for the traditional alcoholic beverage they drank in those days and Courthouse Creek has made their version of it! Enjoy the hot mulled cider, singing, games and more! Sit by the fire pits and enjoy pulled pork, brisket and more from Wahoo BBQ along with live music from 2-5 pm! The orchard is located at 1581 Maidens Road in Maidens, VA.

On Sunday, The Science Museum of Virginia, (located in the former Broad Street train station), is celebrating the day the first train left the station 100 years ago! Enjoy free train rides for the kids, train car tours, arts and crafts and more! Complete with confetti and a cake this Centennial Celebration is sure to be a great time! Make sure you’re there for the countdown at 1:00 pm and tickets are $10-$19 each.
