Check out some of these festive holiday events going on around Richmond this weekend!

The Richmond Ballet is putting on its annual production of “The Nutcracker” starting tonight, 12/14, at Dominion Energy Center! This classic production featuring all the pomp and circumstance you remember from Christmases past and runs through December 23rd. Tickets start at just $25!

The Bryd Theatre is screening some holiday cult classics this weekend to get you in the spirit! They’re showing “Elf” (Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite color?) on Saturday morning at 10 AM and on Sunday at 4:30, enjoy the British rom com “Love Actually” (bring your own tissues).

Sunday at 12:30, Hardywood West Creek is offering a wreath making class! Enjoy a festive Gingerbread Stout while crafting the perfect door ornament out of fresh local greenery, pine cones, wreath forms, multiple ribbon colors, decorative berries, and more! Seats are limited, call to reserve your spot!

On Sunday, if you feel like getting active, join Tread Happy RVA on their Tack Light Run! This 2-4 mile run/jog/walk follows the Richmond Times-Dispatch tacky light route through The Fan district. Route starts and finishes at the Tread Happy studio, at 2300 W. Main St. Event is FREE but they suggest a donation ($10 suggested minimum) for the Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation!
