Some snow may be in the forecast for Richmond this weekend, but don’t let that stop you from getting out there and having fun! With the holidays just right around the corner, there are lots of festive activities happening this weekend!
On Friday evening, there are complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides happening at Stony Point Fashion Park. What a great way to spend time with friends and family and also hit the stores for some holiday shopping! The carriage rides start at Saks Fifth Avenue and Brooks Brothers entrance from 5:30-7:30 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, the 56th Annual Holiday House Tour in the Fan District is going on. This year the tour will include the homes that were filmed last year in Showtime’s Original Series, Homeland. The tour is walk friendly for those who want to really see all of the outside decorations, but also has a trolley service that will be circling the fan each day from noon to 5 pm for those who are interested! To keep you in the holiday spirit, all weekend long the 2018 RVA Tacky Light Tour will be happening all around Richmond! Grab your friends and go see what Richmond’s tacky lights are all about! This is always a fun holiday tradition. The Tacky Light Tour will begin Friday December 7 and go through December 22. On Sunday December 8th, from 11 am to 3 pm for a $5 donation you can take your best friend to RedRidge Pet Market for a holiday photo! They ask to please have your animal on a leash or in a carrier.
