The big day is almost here! Here’s how to spend your Christmas weekend in Richmond:

Check out the Live Nativity at the Richmond Zoo! The nativity will run December 21-23 with shows at 7:00, 7:45, and 8:30 lasting 20 minutes each. It takes place outside the Zoo entrance decorated in thousands of lights! Hot chocolate and doughnuts will be for sale (with proceeds going to charity) and they are conducting a canned food drive to benefit the Chesterfield Food Bank. Bring the kids and check it out.

On Saturday head to The Veil Brewing for a special petting zoo and a screening of Elf on the big outdoor movie screen! The Teeny Tiny Farm LLC will be bringing all their mini friends for you to play with from 12:00-5:00 including mini goats, mini sheep, a mini horse, mini bunnies and more! Continental Divide Richmond and River City Kettle Corn will be serving food starting at 1:00 and the movie starts at 8:00. It is outdoor so dress accordingly and bring blankets!

Last but not least, you have to check out the lluminate Light show at the Meadow if you haven’t already! It is Virginia’s largest drive through Christmas Light Show and it’s all set to music that plays from your car radio! It can be very crowded on the weekends so you can expect up to a 2 hour wait to get in and then about 45 minutes to complete. The light show is open 5:30-10:00 every night until 12/31 and costs $25 per car. Once you’re done you can visit Santa’s Village to do a little shopping, grab a bite to eat, warm up and take a picture with the big guy himself Santa Claus!

From all of us here at The Albritton Team, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
