Welcome to the weekend, Richmonders! Here’s what’s going on around the city:

This Saturday, August 4th, celebrate all things RVA at Buskey Cider’s third annual 804 Day! In addition to all their regular ciders, they‘re releasing a special collaboration brew, Peach Tea Cider, made with Carytown Teas Peach Blossom blend. They’ll also be serving cans and bottle of all your favorite local beers from Hardywood, Stone Brewing, Triple Crossing, Center of the Universe, Ardent and many more! Richmond is known as a city with a rich mix of art, history, and creativity. To honor that, Busky is bringing in all kinds of makers to showcase their trades and artwork at 804 Day. Who knows, you might find your next hobby! Be sure to check it out!

The second annual BrewHaHa beer festival is also going down on Saturday at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture (formerly known as the Virginia Historical Society). In addition to beers on tap from Alewerks Brewing, Ballast Point, Blue Bee Cider, Trapezium and many more, there will also be a special “battle of the brews.” Ardent, Isley, Castleburg, and Canon & Draw will each be doing their own modern take on an old lemon beer recipe from the museum’s archives! With food trucks on site and bluegrass music all night, it’s sure to be a great time. The event runs from 6-9 and tickets are $30 for general admission and $40 for VIP (the VIP tickets gets you a lemon beer tasting and VIP access).

Enjoy the weekend!
